THE JOINT COMMITTEE FOR BILATERAL FUND ESTABLISHED

One of the overall aims of the EEA and Norway Grants is to strengthen the bilateral cooperation for the sake of which the donor states and Hungary established the Joint Committee for Bilateral Fund on 19 February 2021. From the Hungarian side the Prime Minister’s Office as the National Focal Point manages the Committee with the participation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, whereas Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein are represented by their ambassadors.

The Committee reviewed the possible fields of cooperation and the further tasks at the first meeting. The Work Plan regarding the planned initiatives is currently being drafted on the basis of which several activities can be supported hopefully already in autumn 2021, primarily in the form of open calls where the beneficiaries could receive grants for their short- and long- term cooperation.

We will continuously provide information about the opportunities, therefore you are kindly requested to monitor our website.
