The main activity of the project is the complex information exchange raising campaign with mainly soft measures. The basis of the campaign is an interactive exhibition of methods, measures and technological solutions on the field of renewable energies – applicable under the Hungarian conditions - combined with energy efficiency, mainly related to building constructions. The exhibition and its tools and devices are to demonstrate the practical and possible everyday uses of renewables with the additional benefits of energy efficiency improvements. The campaign is to be organized and the exhibition is to be displayed for about 1-1 week at the regional centres of Hungary. Regional and local awareness raising events (one in each county of Hungary and in 2-2 schools) will be organized, in cooperation with the relevant local NGOs and other stakeholders.  Brochures and promotional materials, a specific webpage, an interactive software, modelling different types of houses and the possible way of energy efficient reconstructions, a series of on- and offline advertisements, local TV and video spots, as well as participation of large scale local public events are to promote the reasonable use renewable energy sources and support energy efficiency and the project aims.
The Project Promoter Partner is the Regional Centre for Energy Policy Research, REKK (http://rekk.hu/home) is to provide professional analysis and advice on networked energy markets that are both commercially and environmentally sustainable. REKK has performed comprehensive research, consulting and teaching activities on the fields of electricity, gas and carbon-dioxide markets since 2004.
